Members of the Warwick University Opera Chorus, All Saint’s Parish Church Choir and assorted others came up to Noisegate Studios for a longer than expected session for 3 of the film score cues.. They were very patient and we got some great results..

NSPCC ad

I’m chuffed to say that music I submitted for a national NSPCC TV ad campaign has been chosen from ten other compositions.. You can watch it on the Listen page

Movie Score

Work on the score for The 13th Day continues now that final film editing is being done. The opening and main theme are written and the Directors, Ian & Dom Higgins are very happy with them.. Although I’m currently sequencing the score on the computer I’m hoping to use an orchestra and choir for the final recording.

Voice-overs and dialogue are also being organised & recorded from the studio, so all in all a busy time..

Back from New York

Back from an intensive weekend in New York armed with a wealth of new knowledge and looking forward to putting it into practice. Really glad I did the course and met some great people too. Check out the fantastic work done by composer Dika Durbuzovic McKinley when her site is back up and running..
